This Plugin allows you to cross-post your blog posts to your Facebook Wall. Your Facebook “Boxes” tab will show your most recent blog posts.

Requirements:

  • Facebook profile :) .
  • Privileges to install WordPress plugins on your blog. In particular, this means that wordpress.com bloggers are left out. Sorry :( . Bloggers using wordpress.com should check out the WordPress Facebook app.

List of Ping Services for ur Blog

Ping services allow you to automatically notify blog directories and search engines that your blog has been updated. The bigger your ping list the higher the chances of receiving traffic from those sources, so check out the list below and include it on your blog (WordPress users can modify their ping list on the Control Panel, then Options, then Writing).

If you login to WordPress dashboard, and then go to Settings > Writing. At the bottom you see a form for Update Services – “When you publish a new post, WordPress automatically notifies the following site update services.” By default this service is prefilled with Pingomatic pinging service, which is pinged when you create or update a post.

Detect Visitors From Twitter in WordPress blog

If you have significant visitor base from Twitter then will it not be a great idea to detect Twitter visitors and offer them a warm welcome, remind them that their re-tweets are appreciated. You might also want them to point towards some specific blog posts or some freebies that they might interested in.

For that you can add following code in your single.php file and add your welcome message.
